Wickham Clayton

Wickham Clayton is an author, filmmaker, and media producer. With over a decade's experience as a film critic, media commentator and educator, these experiences informs his work, and he remains passionate about the pleasures of a range of media, using his platform to communicate this joy whenever given the opportunity.

Wickham made his name researching and writing about Slasher films, earning his PhD with a thesis on the Friday the 13th franchise. While publishing prolifically about film on academic platforms (particularly horror and religion - both together and separately) he enthusiastically develops creative projects in the form of screenplays, short films, prose, and music. 

Born in the US-American south but nomadic by inclination, he currently lives with his family in the UK.
